About Us

About NewlyMaid

NewlyMaid is a collection of little black dresses perfect for any occasion. Each purchased dress is shipped with a prepaid mailer for the upcycling of an unwanted, previously worn bridesmaid dress. NewlyMaid accepts bridesmaids’ dresses from ALL bridal industry brands including bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride, social occasion and prom dresses.

The process is simple.

Customers visit and purchase a new little black dress and receive the new dress along with a prepaid mailer for the upcycling of one dress to NewlyMaid from anywhere in the continental U.S. The mailer includes two types of packaging, one clear bag for the dress and one shipping bag. A prepaid shipping label is included, along with packing and shipping instructions. International customers will receive a free mailer and packaging, but prepaid shipping labels are not currently included.

Once NewlyMaid receives your old bridesmaid dress, it will be processed for donation to charity. NewlyMaid has partnered with Clothes4Souls, which will be the recipient of all garments in good wearable condition. NewlyMaid is also currently working on a number of ways to recycle dresses by turning them into new filament for eco-friendly fabrics. NewlyMaid will continually update our subscribers as new processes become available. If you don't have a dress to donate, NewlyMaid will donate one, in your name, to Clothes4Souls.
